From the minute I walked through the door I was made to feel welcome. Even though it was very busy my appointment time was kept dead on. A very pleasant young lady carried out the health checks and then the eye test was carried out by Asim Ahmed who explained everything very thoroughly. Asim made me feel like he had all the time in the world for my appointment and invited me to ask any questions (I don't think that's ever happened before!) Very impressed with the whole set up

Although it was busy I was welcomed by a member of staff as soon as I reached the reception desk. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, polite and efficient, explaining what they were doing.

I called to arrange a contact lense appointment, I have previously been with boots in oxford and explained to the gentleman on the phone that I hadn't worn lenses for 8 months but wanted to start wearing them again, he told me he would ask for my old prescription to be sent over then order some contact lenses for me to use on the arranged date. The day before my appoint boots called to just to remind me of my appointment (which I thought was very good) I asked if my contact lenses had arrived the lady said she would go and check a few minutes later the gentleman that I first spoke to came on the line he said the opticians would like me to start the contact lense test from the start. When I arrived for my appointment nothing had been organised, my old prescription has not been requested and sent over so I had to wait around for that to be done then I was told that I had to come back once the contact lenses had been ordered. It was a complete was of time I was told this was going to be done before my appointment

I have been going to this optician for around 20 years. Always greeted in a polite and friendly way. Emily took me through the various tests and was delightful. The optometrist, Asim Ahmed, was extremely pleasant and efficient. Finally, I was well looked after, as on previous occasions by Deborah, who helped me with the choice of frames and various options.
